SIGN A MEMBERSHIP CONTRACT

Quick and entirely dematerialized, the process of joining the Valobat eco-organization has been designed to allow you to concretize your circularity approach as easily as possible. What the Valobat membership contract contains

Membership of Valobat requires the signature of a membership contract setting out the general and specific conditions governing the relationship between the eco-organization and the member. Membership of Valobat is free of charge and is open to any entity covered by the PMCB EPR, considered as a PMCB marketer. By signing the contract, Valobat assumes the legal obligation to contribute to the management of the PMCB waste of the member who commits to declare annually the quantities of PMCB and to pay the eco-contribution to Valobat, according to the scale voted by the Valobat Board of Directors.

Membership may be exercised by a Marketer on its own behalf or by an agent company.

Based on the principle of general interest and non profitability and in order to treat members fairly, all membership contracts are identical. By signing the contract, the marketer who has become a member has access to a secure space called MyValobat where he can find his contract, his declarations, his invoices, and all the tools and services produced by Valobat for its members.

DECLARE THE QUANTITIES OF PRODUCTS PUT ON THE MARKET

Declarations of products and materials placed on the market are made annually by members, between January 1st and March 31st, on the MyValobat Member platform.

The principle is simple:

FROM JANUARY¹ TO MARCH 31 OF year Na declaration campaign is launched: each member declares its marketings of the year N-1, specifying the quantities per unit requested (t, linear meter,^m2,^m3 or units according to the PMCB).
Once the declaration is madethe exact amount of the eco-contribution will be calculated automatically.
Valobat will then invoice the member for this amountValobat will then invoice the member for this amount, in 4 calls for funds (each call representing 25% of the total eco-contribution) spread over the year N, in March, May, August and November.
During the declaration campaign of year N+1a regularization invoice (or credit note) is issued to the member, based on the actual marketing carried out in year N.

PAY THE ECO-CONTRIBUTION

Particularities of the simplified declaration system

To ease the administrative burden of the smallest marketers, Valobat offers them the following simplified declaration system:

The eco-contribution scale

Satisfying the provisions of article R541-119 of the Environment CodeValobat sets up fixed prices for producers putting small quantities of products on the market.

Valobat will periodically ensure that the amount of the fee covers the costs of managing PMCB's waste, in the interest of fairness among marketers.

These lump-sum eco-taxes are correlated to the sales of PMCB marketers and cover both categories of approval.

For all, a minimum fee of 50 euros applies to cover Valobat's internal and external costs.

The schedule of declaration in simplified system

The declaration and invoicing schedule is adapted according to the stakes of the marketer.
Valobat thus proposes a general regime and a simplified regime addressed to producers putting small quantities of products on the market.

ABOUT THE SIMPLIFIED DECLARATION PACKAGES

The fixed prices proposed by Valobat have been designed to represent a maximum of 5% of the markets, according to Valobat's estimates and in accordance with the decree relating to the data of the extended responsibility of producers (EPR).

Valobat's members will be able to indicate the amount of their turnover for the previous year, rather than sending a detailed declaration of the products and materials placed on the market. However, members are still free to declare their marketings according to the general system.

Entrusting your responsibility to an agent: how does it work?

A marketer may choose to outsource to a third party,

the agent, the operations of adhesion, declaration, invoicing, payment and/or management of the control operations. In this case, the agent is a signatory of the Valobat contract.

The marketer (the principal) and the agent sign a contract in which the purpose of the contract, the obligations of the agent and the principal, and the responsibility of the agent in the performance of his duties are listed. The information that must be included in the contract is set out in Valobat's standard membership contract.
